It's all overrated. Just kidding! I for one can tell you that it's not. My friend did in fact shave off her hair this weekend and she looks beautiful. Believe it or not, she has a glow about her. You can tell that she is nervous, but is a little relived to not see all that hair coming out!
I'm feeling just fine getting back into my old routine. Staying up real late, paying for it the next morning, my diet has gone downhill. I am exercising (that is a bonus). I do feel good after wards, but I never remember it taking this long to get into shape! Must be old age (or the medications or menopause). Whatever it is, it's working against me and I tell you, I am more determined to fight it just like I did cancer. I was going to make a goal to try and do the Susan G. Komen race for the cure at the end of April. I really wanted to be able to run and walk the entire 5K, however, I have surgery 2 weeks before then and I really doubt that I will be able to get off of the couch much less walk 5K. So I again this year will be there in spirit. Who knows, maybe I can drum up enough energy to go down there and cheer everyone on! Lord knows you all deserve it!

Get a wheelchair & I'll push you. But you are buying the beer afterwards.
